Responsibilities:
- Provide design services for electrical elements of project scopes, including producing drawings, schematics, and diagrams for power systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, project and company requirements and procedures.
- Participate in design review meetings to ensure that all designs are technically sound and cost-effective.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that project deliverables are completed within the agreed budget and schedule.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients' engineers and partner companies to handle technical queries and interpretation of scope, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure that all designs are reviewed and approved by the Electrical Engineering Lead.
- Maintain an overview of the company's Electrical Engineering capability and report any critical resourcing issues to the Project Delivery Manager.
- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting the company's values and ensuring the realization of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality, and ethical systems, policies, and procedures.
- Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, design codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
