Job Description

Our client, a major international energy company is looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Services Officer to join their marine lubricants team based in New Jersey. 

The role consists of the following key Responsibilities:
  • Answering and responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Creating and processing sales orders, purchase orders, and shipping documents
  • Coordinating with suppliers, logistics companies, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Managing inventory levels and working with the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety, environmental, and trade laws
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team
 Candidates applying for this role must meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
  • mid-Level
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service or operations in a marine or oil-related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using SAP
  • Knowledge of marine operations and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
 Work schedule=7.5hours/day. 2days remote and 3 days in the office.
