Our Client are a leading player in the Yacht Management industry, committed to excellence and the highest standards of service. They are seeking a Yacht Crewing Superintendent to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our Crewing Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage the safe manning of all yachts, adhering to safety regulations and budgetary considerations.
  • Ensure all crew members are trained and qualified according to company, STCW, and Flag State requirements.
  • Coordinate crew changes in compliance with Seafarers' Employment Agreements and owner preferences.
  • Handle travel arrangements, including visa requirements, for crew members.
  • Issue Seafarer Employment Agreements in compliance with MLC, Flag State, and National regulations.
  • Plan crew rotation in collaboration with vessel managers and owners.
  • Promote and monitor crew career progression.
  • Actively recruit for open positions as needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Company's Management System and implement it effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures.
  • Monitor and address training needs.
  • Review vessel disbursement accounts.
  • Maintain comprehensive Seafarer records.
  • Handle sickness and accidents by liaising with relevant parties.
  • Investigate and follow up on non-conformities, observations, and customer complaints.
Qualifications:
  • Seagoing experience as a Purser or Interior Manager with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the yachting industry.
  • Proficiency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and controlling skills.
