Faststream is recruiting for a well-respected ship owner in the LNG sector who are looking for a Commercial Associate. This is a rare entry point to get into the LNG sector and quickly develop your commercial and operation skills.
As a Commercial Associate you will be in charge of the commercial management and day-to day operations of LNG Vessels.
This will include activities such as coordinating actions in relation to shipping contracts, e.g. charter parties and ship management agreements. Shipping settlements, business and operational reports, insurance activities, monitoring ship performance and support on business development activities.
The role is not a 24/7 ops role and is usually normal office hours with occasional additional input during busy periods.
For this role you will need a business degree or similar in maritime/transportation, economics, business administration or a similar discipline. Preferably you will have some industry experience in theses sectors with LNG or Tankers an advantage.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and no visa support is available.
