Faststream are recruiting a for a rapidly growing, global maritime company, seeking a strategic and experienced finance professional to join their senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with international accounting expertise, looking to take on a senior leadership role. Experience in the maritime sector is not required and the client is open to sector background.

Position Overview:
As CFO, you will manage the global finance operations and work closely with senior management to shape the growth strategy. You’ll oversee corporate financing, tax planning, financial reporting, and operational efficiency across multiple markets, ensuring effective funding and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth: Work with senior management to plan and execute organic and acquisition growth strategies.
  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Lead financial forecasting, cash management, and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
  • Process Optimization: Implement efficient financial reporting and control processes, supported by systems and business intelligence.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified accountant
  • International accounting experience and knowledge of financial practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
