Our client, a leading pool operator, is expanding its business and looking for a senior or junior Chemical Tanker Operator to join their offices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure voyage are performed accordingly to the Charter Party terms and in compliance with regulations and specifications of vessels
- Coordinate voyage planning and forward voyage instructions to vessel
- Ensure Timely and sufficient bunker on board
- Monitor vessel performance and coordinate with the vessel master/manager in the event of a marine incident
- Maintain close relationships with Charterers and Brokers
- Report and coordinate cargo documentations ad freight/hire invoices
- Ensure IMOS system is timely and accurate
- Min 3 years relevant experience in chemical tanker operations or minimally someone with sailing experience on chemical tankers (min 3rd officer rank)
- Min diploma holder
- Able to work flexible working hours and under time pressure
- Knowledge of IBC code
- Experience in IMOS is an advantage
