Our client is a diverse global shipping company with a respected brand. Part of their expansion plans is to further develop Japanese relationships and Faststream are helping to secure a Business Development Manager to focus on Japan.
Due to the Japanese clientele, suitable candidates must be fluent in Japanese and English. This role can be based in Japan or within their other Asia offices with regular trips to Japan.
The core focus of the role is to build and develop relationships with new and existing Japanese clients, while working closely with the company's operations, chartering and ship management divisions.
The preferred candidate will have strong foundations within the shipping industry: coming from a commercial, operational or ship management background.
