Looking for Business Development Executive or Manager to develop business opportunities, win new contracts as well as manage major key accounts in the Maritime industry. 


• To identify and cultivate a pipeline of potential term or spot charters   
• Develop relationship with partners and seek potential new ones for adhoc projects   
• To lead the tender/bidding process by preparing pricing calculations and commercial proposals   
and thereafter submitting   
• To follow up closely with the various potential clients for which bids are provided   
• Responsible for the organization’s commercial activities such as preparation offers, bids and   
tenders. He / She should maintain close relationships with industry players and clients   
• Maintains and develops a computerized customer and prospect database   
• Plans and carries out direct commercial and marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales   
volumes, values and timescales   
• Develops ideas and creates offers for marketing to major accounts by main market sector   
• Responds to and follows up on sales enquires via email, telephone, and/or personal visits   
• Maintain customer relationships through planned individual account support, and acts as a   
liaison with internal processing staff   
• Monitors and reports on activities and provides relevant management information   
• Carries out market research, competitor and customer surveys   
• Manages external marketing agency activities
