Our Client are a well-established and innovative technology OEM who have been listed in to the Top 10 most sustainable companies by the Wall Street Journal. They design and manufacture sustainable and high tech fluid handling systems for international clients. In Maritime they are working with high profile owners like Carnival Cruise Lines and outside of maritime they are working with world leading technology firms like Google! They a have a very strong marine portfolio, particularly in the Cruise segment and are targeting high growth across the wider international Marine and Offshore Energy markets. In order to achieve this they need to bring on board talented individuals with strong business development skills and experience.

The role...
  • Maintaining contacts and looking after existing customers (shipowners, shipyards, Classification societies, marine outfitters / plant manufacturers, trading companies.
  • Specification of products in merchant marine, yachts and other maritime fields
  • Maintain CRM (accounts, contacts, opportunities, leads)
  • Network development in the supplier industry, in cooperation with local colleagues
  • Implementation of sales strategies, develop new sales channels in Marine Industries
  • Development and expansion of offer and order volumes from new and existing customers in day-to-day and project business
The requirements...
  • Must have experience working within OEM companies or Shipyards with in NL
  • Previous Sales or Account management experience
  • Degree within Naval Architecture or Marine engineering 
  • Experience in the Freight or Yacht Market
  • Must be based in Netherlands
