Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in supervising the engineering department's daily operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery onboard, ensuring smooth sailing and the safety of passengers and crew.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, employing your expertise in marine engineering.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a secure environment for all onboard.
- Valid STCW certification and 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency
- C1/D or ability to renew/obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role, onboard passenger vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
