Faststream are working with a major subsea energy business to add a Welding Engineer to their Pipelines team based in Glasgow. They are open to candidates looking for staff or contract positions.

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop welding procedures and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct welding inspections and NDT evaluations to verify joint quality.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify welding requirements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Stay updated on welding technology advancements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in subsea welding for pipeline projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes.
Must have right to work in the UK.
