Vessel Operator

Our client a leading ship owner from the UK, has arrived here in Singapore. They're looking for a talented and experienced operator to join their team. is seeking an operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience managing MR tanker or CPP tanker preferred.

Roles and responsibilities:

Manage freight, hire, and other miscellaneous invoice generation and follow-up, and hand-over to the claims team as appropriate
Develop and implement timely solutions to cargo and voyage-related trading issues in conjunction with the steward and Commercial Operations Manager as required
Attend to miscellaneous queries from the Commercial Operations Manager and management team on a case-by-case basis
Effectively escalate issues where required and present decision-making options to appropriate senior staff members

Ideal Candidate:

min.2 years of experience in vessel operations
Able to function autonomously without direct supervision
Be available outside of regular office hours as required by the demands of the role
Be open to performing other tasks outside the commercial operations role to assist the Office Manager in establishing the new office in Singapore
