As part of business expansion, a growing ship owner is setting up a ship management team in Singapore and is actively hiring for suitably experienced Technical Superintendents.
Only applicants currently based in Singapore will be considered. You need to have sailing experience up to a Chief Engineer and shore experience as a Technical Superintendent. Experience with geared bulk carriers is preferred for this position.
You will be responsible for ensuring the seaworthiness of the ships assigned to you. Planning and preparing your vessels for docking, repairs or other engineering/retrofitting works. Planning and submitting annual vessel budget for approval. Monitoring OPEX and justifying variances. Partnering closely with the Marine & HSEQ team on all relevant safety and compliance matters on board the vessels.
