Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support onboard cargo and N₂ system operations, maintenance, and crew competence.
- Handle refrigerated gas cargoes including Ethylene, Propylene, Butadiene, and VCM.
- Support Marine Operations, Ship Managers, and Commercial teams on gas technical issues.
- Conduct vessel inspections and audits, assessing equipment condition and crew competencies.
- Assist crew with technical problems and critical cargo operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
- Review performance of cargo and N₂ plants, including PSA plant testing and refrigerant management.
- Provide training, competence development, and guidance to Gas Engineers and ETOs.
- Contribute to fleet-wide improvements, simulator development, and newbuilding projects.
- Assist with cargo-related incident investigations and implement preventive/corrective actions.
- Sailing experience as Chief Engineer, 2nd Engineer, Cargo Engineer, or relevant process engineering role.
- Experience on LPG, Ethylene, or Ethane vessels.
- Ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call lifestyle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in written and spoken English; strong time management and organizational skills.
- Independent, outcome-driven, resourceful, and team-oriented with cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Rotation on vessels for a minimum of 210 working days per year.
