As a Service & Support Engineer your main tasks and responsibilities:
- To install electronic navigation equipment and install all relevant software to ensure that it operates efficiently.
- Training the customers on how to use the equipment.
- Maintain and repair customer's equipment while on routine visits, ensuring that all necessary tools are present to complete work at the scheduled time.
- Coach and develop junior colleagues where necessary.
- Ensure all documents are accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
- Following the technical instructions provided by the manufacturers, including any updates.
- Keep up to date with scheduled training on the equipment being used.
Requirements...
- Previous experience in the marine electronics field.
- Studied at least 1 year at a technical school in the field of informatics/electronics.
- Experience working as a radio survey technician.
- A good understanding of the English language both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently with the ability to set priorities and delivery when the workload is high.
- Be a good problem solver that can work in a team with effective communication with colleagues.
- Must have the right to work in the EU, without restrictions.
