Job Description

Faststream are working with a global leader in the maritime market delivering marine equipment, systems, and services.

As a Service & Support Engineer your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • To install electronic navigation equipment and install all relevant software to ensure that it operates efficiently.
  • Training the customers on how to use the equipment.
  • Maintain and repair customer's equipment while on routine visits, ensuring that all necessary tools are present to complete work at the scheduled time.
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues where necessary.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Following the technical instructions provided by the manufacturers, including any updates.
  • Keep up to date with scheduled training on the equipment being used.


  • Previous experience in the marine electronics field.
  • Studied at least 1 year at a technical school in the field of informatics/electronics.
  • Experience working as a radio survey technician.
  • A good understanding of the English language both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently with the ability to set priorities and delivery when the workload is high.
  • Be a good problem solver that can work in a team with effective communication with colleagues.
  • Must have the right to work in the EU, without restrictions.
