Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage vessel operations (CFR/DAP/FOB), including vetting, instructions, demurrage, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee daily operations (CFR/DAP/FOB) and coordinate crude oil tanker/VLGC activities, including monitoring and reporting on their movements.
- Strategically schedule vessels to optimize crude loading/unloading in collaboration with Charterers, Traders, Operators, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage vessel vetting, nomination, voyage orders, and ship operations monitoring.
- Handle comprehensive vessel operations, including instructions for loading/discharging/inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, resolve disputes, demurrage, and claims efficiently
- Attend key stakeholder meetings. Including buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint venture partners, Trading, Middle Office, LNG, Finance, Administration, and other relevant teams.
- Prepare reports on tanker/VLGC market information (vessel fixtures, etc.) to support chartering and trading activities.
- Assist the Trading team as needed and handle ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Commerce, Laws, or related fields, with priority given to those majoring in Maritime Studies.
- Minimally 7 years' experience in vessel operations/coordination within a Crude oil/LNG trading company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and adeptness with trading and operations software/platforms.
- Strong ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated dedication, attention to detail, and a keen aptitude for numerical tasks.
