Faststream are working with an International Energy Company with a strong and growing team of consultants working in the renewable energy sector alongside their traditional Oil & Gas project work. As the demand for renewable energy has increased, our client has significantly increased its offering within both renewables and cables area.
Our client has a requirement for an experienced Senior Engineer to take the lead in the project management of a range of projects from planning and design, construction through to Operation and maintenance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the Interconnectors and Cables sector and is likely to have a degree or Msc in Engineering or or Geotechnical Engineering. You will be involved on both UK and international cable system planning projects, including cable routes and investment decisions, working with a range of clients including equity companies, energy companies and owners etc. An understanding and awareness of environmental and permitting issues and the ability to lead and mentor others is essential.
Our client has offices across the UK and can offer flexible working but ideally candidates would be happy to work at least on a part time basis out of their London office. There will potentially be both travel in the UK and overseas on a regular basis.
