Responsibilities:
- Strong foundation and deep understanding in Tanker markets in the range of Aframax, Suezmax, LR1, LR2, and other smaller vessels.
- Lead negotiations for charter agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Draft, review, and execute charter contracts.
- Stay abreast of market trends, freight rates, and vessel availability. Conduct regular market analysis to provide insights into potential opportunities and risks.
- Extensive global network of ship owners/tonnage providers and charterers to actively seek and grow customer base with new accounts, and to secure foothold on key clients/trades.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of proven experience in Chartering Management with a focus on Tanker Vessels.
- In-depth knowledge of Aframax, Suezmax, LR1, LR2, and other smaller vessels.
- Background coming from Shipowner/Operator/Charter companies.
- Strong negotiation skills and a successful track record of securing favorable charter agreements.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
