Our client operates multiple subsea vehicles globally for subsea installations.
We are looking for an experienced ROV Pilot/Technician (Senior) who will play a pivotal role in field operations and equipment maintenance. This position requires close collaboration with client employees and contracted labor to ensure smooth equipment maintenance and subsea operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, repair, and maintain client ROV and Sea Plow systems.
- Monitor and evaluate subsea contractors' performance.
- Communicate and enforce company procedures and safety policies.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and oversee the receipt of parts and supplies.
- Manage onboard inventory and critical system spares.
- Perform system maintenance with a focus on operational readiness.
- Conduct routine system audits during deployment.
- Support the mobilization and demobilization of ROV and Sea Plow systems.
- Assist with subsea equipment builds, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and integration.
- Provide clear feedback to submersibles management regarding system status and contracted labor.
- Conduct necessary administrative tasks for onboard submersible administration.
- Minimum two years of experience working within the ROV industry.
- Strong engineering or technical background and hands-on experience operating and maintaining ROV or Sea Plow systems.
- Ability to work independently and proactively address issues as they arise.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
