Naval Architect

We currently have an exciting new opportunity to join an established Naval Architecture design consultancy. Faststream have been selected to support them in recruiting market leading talent to join their team in Hampshire.

The Position

As Naval Architect you will be developing new high-speed craft designs and providing naval architecture, engineering and technical management for clients with a focus on high-end military and special forces boats, as well as commercial boats including ferries. The company also has a strong focus on decarbonisation where you will have the opportunity to get involved with electrification projects for vessel operators.

This is an all-round role where you will get the opportunity to focus on the full design process from initial design to sea-trials covering all areas of Naval Architecture.

Essential Criteria

Degree qualified in Naval Architecture with relevant ship design experience
