Faststream are looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join this international Engineering consultancy with the opportunity to based from the their Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Candidates who can get to either location can be offered a hybrid or potentially remote working arrangement.

Our client is working a number of UK and International port and development projects and offers the chance to be involved in the full project life cycle from feasibility through to Construction.

Duties will include:

Design/analysis of ports and maritime structures, using software such as LUSAS, Robot, Autocad etc
Site-based inspections, surveys and construction supervision.
Production of deliverables such as calculations, reports and drawings.
Preparation of contract documents, specifications and bills of quantities.

Candidates should be degree qualified with 3+ years experience in Maritime Engineering. Ideally you should be chartered or near chartered and our client would actively encourage candidates to follow this path. You will be working of projects across Europe and Africa and the role could also involve travel. Opportunities are available for candidate to work on a hybrid basis or remotely depending on location. All candidates should be UK based and have the right to work in the UK.
