Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee HSEQ policies and procedures for bulk/dry cargo vessels.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the safety awareness and skills of the onboard and onshore teams.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and quality throughout the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Proven experience as an HSEQ Manager in the maritime industry, preferably with bulk or dry cargo vessels.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others in safety initiatives.
