Job Description

I am exclusively supporting a leading global organisation who own and operate a large fleet of offshore vessels. They have an exciting opportunity to bring on a new DP Electrical Superintendent into their team in Aberdeen, UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the DP status of the assigned offshore vessels. You will carry out DP verification trails, review and ensure all DP FMEAs are aligned with industry and statutory guidelines as well as work closely with the dry docking teams to ensure any maintenance requirements and updates are completed as required, amongst various other related duties.  

The ideal candidate will have:-
  • Strong electrical background
  • Extensive experience of DP systems
  • Experience as a controls specialist desirable 
  • Experience in a similar role onshore desirable - can consider someone looking to transition ashore 
  • Offshore ETO experience desirable  
  • Konsberg and/or Rolls Royce experience highly desirable
  • Ability to be based permanently in Aberdeen
