Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and confident leader to join our client's team as a Crewing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in crewing operations, coupled with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a hands-on capacity. As the Crewing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the crewing operations, managing a medium-sized team, and ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of crew members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the crewing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and development.
- Oversee crewing operations, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and deployment of crew members to vessels.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their crewing needs are met with the highest level of service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance crew retention, motivation, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to crewing operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Sea going experience as an officer or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in crewing operations within the maritime industry.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in hands-on crewing operations.
- Strong knowledge of crewing processes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Eligibility to work in Cyprus.
