Job Description

Faststream is recruiting for a Commercial Manager for a well-known international ship-owning company. With company growth comes expansion, necessitating an individual to engage in project execution and commercial activities, focusing on FLNG or FSRU projects in their London office.
This role demands a flexible approach to explore, develop, and execute projects, including contract negotiation, tender document review, and financial considerations. You'll interact extensively with external clients and partners across Europe and Africa, as well as internal teams in Tokyo, Singapore, Houston, and Rio de Janeiro.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead business development and project execution.
  • Identify and explore potential opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with clients and partners.
  • Manage project budgets and resources.
  • Coordinate commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain client relationships for future opportunities.
  • Support the development of business strategies.
  • Mentor and support team members' growth.
  • Attend relevant events to broaden knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 10 years of work experience, including 5-10 years in energy or shipping/offshore industries.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial, financial, and legal aspects of infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
  • Innovative and adaptable mindset.
