Job Description



This position entails providing specialised services and advice in handling P&I and FDD Claims.


Responsibilities:
  • Delve into complex P&I and FDD claims, offering expert advice and resolution.
  • Manage claims for Members with global business interests
  • Navigate a diverse range of P&I issues and significant defence caseload with precision and efficiency.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with existing Members, ensuring swift and satisfactory claims resolution.
  • Actively contribute to loss prevention activities and continuously enhance company procedures.

Requirements:
  • Experience in shipping litigation or dispute resolution, preferably within P&I clubs, insurers, law firms, or related industries.
  • Hold a degree, preferably in Maritime Law (LLB or LLM) or equivalent qualification.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain business relationships across all levels.
  • Exceptionally organized, with an acute attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
