Job Description:
Junior Bunker Trader: As a Junior Bunker Trader, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for sourcing and trading marine fuels while developing your skills in the industry. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to build your expertise in bunker trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior traders in executing bunker transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and pricing data to make informed trading decisions.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with clients.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage bunker trading operations, including sourcing and negotiation.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of clients and suppliers.
- Analyze market conditions and develop trading strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations and risk management efforts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior traders.
For Junior Bunker Traders:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the bunker trading industry.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant industry background is preferred.
- Proven experience in bunker trading with a successful track record and established portfolio of customers/clients.
