JOB SUMMARY:
The Applications Analyst will manage the Nautical Systems (NS) application for our client's organization. Responsibilities include ensuring NS meets business needs, collaborating with the SOx compliance team, and overseeing database functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Ensure NS meets business and user needs, gathering feedback for improvements.
  • Review application effectiveness, develop strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain NS documentation and workflows.
  • Collaborate with third-party teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Manage system configurations for end users and business support.
  • Export reports for data integrity and improvements.
  • Work with Software Product Developer on product issues.
  • Ensure accurate database setup for reliability.
  • Disseminate application best practices, develop a super-user network, and provide training.
  • Track routine database maintenance and collaborate on enhancements.
  • Support UAT testing for updates and patches.
  • Communicate changes to users regularly.
  • Design and implement SOx-compliant processes.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve Help Desk tickets.
  • Develop NS User guides in collaboration with module owners.
  • Ensure NS changes align with NS Roadmap, best practices, and business needs.
  • Project manage the NS Action Tracking List, considering module interfaces.
  • Attend ABS NS Conferences for insights.
  • Provide Quarterly Updates to Users.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • College diploma or 2+ years equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, database management, engineering, or operations.
  • Proven NS application and database management experience.
  • Prior experience in interfacing databases using APIs.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable SOx IT GC requirements and data privacy practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting core enterprise applications (SharePoint, Teams, O365 Suite).
  • NS certifications.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP GRC, SQL Server, and PowerBI.
  • Programming language knowledge (C-sharp, VB, Java).
  • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10).
