Looking for a Vessel Manager with extensive experience in LNG/FSRU vessels. Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally conscious operation of assigned vessels, primarily LNG and FSRU, typically managing 3-5 gas vessels.
  • Ensure vessels comply with relevant rules, regulations, ISM code, ISO standards, and industry requirements.
  • Provide support on technical operations as needed.
  • Maintain technical statistics and attend to additional duties as required.
  • Analyze and respond to undesired events, participate in shipboard management systems reviews, and arrange management reviews to ensure implementation of decided actions.
  • During the absence of a Vessel Manager, the Fleet Manager assumes responsibility or delegates another backup vessel manager.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Technical/maritime qualifications with seagoing experience as Motor Chief Engineer on LNG vessels and/or FSRU. (or)
  • Maritime degree with shore-based experience as a vessel manager of LNG vessels and/or FSRU.
  • Good command of oral and written English.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Environmental focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop close relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers, and internal/external support functions.
