Are you a seasoned maritime professional with dry bulk background ready to take on a pivotal role shoreside? We're seeking a Technical Superintendent to provide vital support to our client's fleet, ensuring seamless management of technical and operational requirements in line with company protocols, classification standards, and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Daily Maintenance Oversight: Manage daily maintenance activities for dry bulk vessels, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  2. Procurement and Repairs: Oversee procurement processes and coordinate repairs, optimizing efficiency while staying within allocated budgets.
  3. Vessel Condition Surveys: Conduct thorough surveys to assess vessel conditions, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  4. Prompt Reporting: Report any significant deviations promptly to management, enabling timely decision-making and risk mitigation.
  5. Safety Priority: Emphasize safety as the top priority in all technical operations, minimizing incidents and downtime to safeguard crew and assets.
Requirements:
  • Holds an MEO Class I – COC
  • Chief Engineer experience, including 2nd Engineer Sailing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of shore experience as a Technical Superintendent
  • Experience with electronic engines/cargo cranes is a plus
