Responsibilities:
- Planning, tendering, monitoring, and coordination of repair orders
- Conducting periodical inspections of vessels and preparing comprehensive reports
- Preparation and control of docking times for vessels
- Budget planning and control to ensure cost-effective operations
- Providing technical guidance and support to the crew on board
- Acting as the point of contact for service providers, suppliers, as well as authority and class representatives
- Completed studies/training as a marine engineer/technician or ship mechanic
- Substantial seagoing experience and first-hand experience as a technical superintendent
- Experience with Deep sea Vessels preferably Dry Cargo Vessels (MPP, Heavy Lift, Bulk, Container etc.)
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a goal-oriented and responsible work ethic
