Faststream is currently recruiting for a Vessel Operator to work for a shipping company based in the Southampton/Portsmouth area.
This role will be to cover the operations overview for the vessels on charter, to include claims, stowage planning, volume forecasts, as well as flow vs capacity. You will be expected to look ahead for any potential bottlenecks or issues that may be faced as well as looking for areas to improve both efficiency and revenue.
This role will require previous experience in the shipping industry either as a ship operator or similar role, or seafaring experience as third officer or above. You will need the right to work in the UK for this role.
