We're seeking a seasoned professional to take charge of Dynamic Positioning (DP) and electrical aspects for our client's fleet. If you're ready to lead with expertise and drive innovation in maritime operations, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve fleet Dynamic Positioning (DP) issues to their root cause, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Develop and implement electrical technical policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operations and project execution.
  • Collaborate in the evaluation and selection of electrical equipment for new building projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Analyze significant DP and electrical issues, providing technical support to regional management.
  • Train seafarers in DP maintenance and oversee annual DP trials.
  • Manage DP-related documentation and upgrade projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the improvement of DP operation practices and industry standards.
Internal/External Relationships:
  • Collaborate with Singapore staff, customers, and approved vendors and contractors to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of DP vessels and electrical systems.
  • Technical savvy with a global mindset and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
