Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve fleet Dynamic Positioning (DP) issues to their root cause, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Develop and implement electrical technical policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operations and project execution.
- Collaborate in the evaluation and selection of electrical equipment for new building projects, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Analyze significant DP and electrical issues, providing technical support to regional management.
- Train seafarers in DP maintenance and oversee annual DP trials.
- Manage DP-related documentation and upgrade projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Contribute to the improvement of DP operation practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Singapore staff, customers, and approved vendors and contractors to achieve operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of DP vessels and electrical systems.
- Technical savvy with a global mindset and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
