About the Role:
We are seeking an Legal Executive to join our team, supporting various transactional legal work within our commercial shipping activities, bunker trading, vessel acquisition, ship finance, M&A, investment, joint venture, and company secretarial matters.
As a key player, you'll provide crucial assistance to our legal team, including legal research, document management, contract drafting, and correspondence.
This is an in-house role offering exposure to a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the Group’s commercial shipping activities, including pool agreements, time charters, and profit share agreements.
- Overseeing the Group’s bunker trading, vessel acquisition, and ship finance activities.
- Handling the Group’s mergers and acquisitions, investments, and joint venture activities.
- Addressing company secretarial matters, including compliance with know your customer regulations.
- Providing support on litigation matters as needed.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal within the maritime sector
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
- A willingness to adapt, acquire knowledge in new areas, and develop additional skills while on the job.
- Exceptional team-player capabilities coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Confidence and ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
