Faststream are working with a Port and Harbour Authority based along the River Thames. Our client is looking for a Contract Manager to join their Civil Engineering team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will come from a Quantity Surveying or Construction Management background and will provide Project Management and Commercial management support to the Civil Engineering team. Responsibilities will include:
- Management of project budgets between £50k to £5m per project.
- Liaising with external contractors
- co ordination of contractual and commercial aspects of projects.
- Supporting the management of both internal and external resources
- Preparation of tender and contract documents
Candidate are likely to have experience in both civil and structural Engineering projects and should have good knowledge of various forms of contract. The client is able to offer a competitive salary and generous pension scheme together with 28 days leave per year plus bank holiday and other benefits.
Candidates should already have the right to work in the UK permanently as our client doesn't have the ability to sponsor candidates in need of a visa.
