We are currently seeking a qualified Fleet Manager or Technical Superintendent to join their growing technical team. If you have experience as a Marine Chief Engineer Officer or equivalent senior merchant marine experience as well as some shore-based experience we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee vessel maintenance programs
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and coordinate surveys
- Collaborate with class societies and flag administrations
- Monitor and enhance vessel performance
- Offer direct technical assistance to vessels
- Expedite resolution of defects and deficiencies
- Develop and manage vessel operational budgets
- Coordinate drydock specifications and oversee repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate with Technical Superintendents on daily technical matters
- Manage vessel storage and provisioning effectively
- Prepare technical reports for stakeholders
You must be based near Southampton and have the right to live and work in the UK to be eligible to apply for this position.
