You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vessels across Europe and the UK, carrying out a varied range of works from removing and installing engines, working on, inspecting and repairing engines and gearboxes, hydraulic systems, navigation and radio equipment, as well as heating systems amongst various other areas.
The ideal candidate for this role will have: -
- Marine Engineering experience / qualifications / degree
- Commercial vehicle mechanical experience could be transferable, if a suitable candidate is interested in joining the marine sector
- Knowledge of MTU or Volvo Engines
- Experience with hydraulic systems, navigation and radio equipment and heating systems highly desirable
- Hold a valid driving license
- Fluent English speaking and written ability
- Willing to be flexible and work away from home
