Do you enjoy improving processes and making a positive change to the way things are done?
This role, while not managing individuals directly, will be a little different from a standard Superintendent role.
You will be involved in improving the technical teams processes within the business, whether that is working with the team to improve how things are done or working with the dry docking team to increase their efficiency and cost effectiveness, you will be the pivtal stone driving this change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical processes in place within the business. You may need to attend vessel visits, as well as monitor docking periods and ship repairs, amongst various other duties.
The ideal candidate for this role will: -
- Hold a Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency (lower tickets will also be considered)
- Have extensive experience sailing on Offshore Vessels (OSV)
- Experience working ashore in a similar role is desirable or experience working in a shipyard on dry dockings
- Hold the existing permanent right to live and work in the EU
- Be willing to travel globally as part of the role, although this will be very limited
The client offers in return an excellent salary and annual company bonus.
They also offer an allowance while traveling to vessels out of country.
