As part of the exciting journey of rapid growth, Silverstream is expanding and looking to recruit an experienced and operational leader in the role of Head of Supply Chain.
Reporting To: VP Operations.
Location: London HQ Office, Marylebone.
The Head of Supply Chain role is a pivotal and first line role within the Operations leadership team responsible for scaling the business to deliver our vision and business plan. The development and management of our supply chain partners and the link between the Supply Chain and our customer facing functions is essential to our success.
This new role reports to the VP Operations and is primarily responsible for; (a) establishing best practice policies and procedures for the execution of all procurement and logistics activities, enterprise wide. (b) developing the company centre of excellence for the procurement and operational management of the supply chain to meet quality, risk, time, and cost objectives. (c) developing and executing an innovative supply chain strategy with a focus on strategic sourcing, make/buy analysis, supplier diversity and resilience and (d) developing, managing, and improving supply chain relationships and quality standards with key external partners. The role will ensure that leading edge Supplier Relationship Management practices are embodied across the business and the relationship with our supply chain is perceived by the internal stakeholders as one of shared interest and value creation.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
Degree in relevant subject.
Professionally qualified – IACCM, CIPS or SCM.
Mastery of Supply Chain Risk Management across the full business cycle.
Mastery of cost management and supplier negotiation.
Mastery of people and functional development.
Mastery of advanced presentation and organisation skills.
Mastery in Stakeholder management at all levels up to and including Board level.
Skilled in International supply chain execution, especially regarding projects in Asia.
Skilled in operational delivery into the marine industry.
Skilled in current best practice QHSE requirements.
Skilled in the commercial management of an engineered project-based enterprise.
Strong interpersonal skills – accessible and approachable.
Excellent business standard English written and verbal skills.
