Job Description

As a Purchaser in TORM, you will be responsible for the vast majority of the operational supply chain to a group of vessels. You will drive the purchasing and logistics planning and execution process from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods and services. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key to maximise and fully understand a very complex supply chain.

The position reports to the Global Head of Purchase, Logistics and Agencies. You have colleagues based in Philippines, India, Denmark and US, as well as your new colleagues in London, who you will have close cooperation and collaboration with.  There are existing, robust processes that you will be expected to carry out as well as continuously identifying improvement potentials. You will be a key “spider in the web”, maintaining and nurturing strong external and internal relationships.

Being able to manage a mixture of the standard execution of process administration and high priority, top urgent tasks is an absolute must.
