This position is based in Malta, and all applicants must be located here and have existing Right to Work (Residency or EU Passport).
You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of a fleet of yachts small (10m – 40m). This is a hands-on role that requires a keen attention to detail.
Duties will include:
- Carry out regular maintenance duties on yachts, such as inspecting electrical systems, fixing plumbing issues, and preserving aesthetics.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems promptly.
- Inspect yachts to pinpoint maintenance requirements and suggest necessary repairs or enhancements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize and prioritize maintenance tasks, reducing downtime and maximizing vessel efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, documenting work completed, parts utilized, and suggestions for future upkeep.
- Stay informed about the latest industry standards and technological innovations in yacht maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in yacht or marine maintenance, with a strong understanding of marine systems and components (graduates will be considered)
- Skilled in identifying and fixing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
- Meticulous approach to work, dedicated to delivering high-quality results.
- Effective problem-solving abilities, capable of performing well in demanding situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
