This position entails providing specialised services and advice in handling P&I and FDD Claims.
Responsibilities:
- Delve into complex P&I and FDD claims, offering expert advice and resolution.
- Manage claims for Members with global business interests
- Navigate a diverse range of P&I issues and significant defence caseload with precision and efficiency.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with existing Members, ensuring swift and satisfactory claims resolution.
- Actively contribute to loss prevention activities and continuously enhance company procedures.
Requirements:
- Possess 6+ years of experience in shipping litigation or dispute resolution, preferably within P&I clubs, insurers, law firms, or related industries.
- Hold a degree, preferably in Maritime Law (LLB or LLM) or equivalent qualification.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain business relationships across all levels.
- Exceptionally organized, with an acute attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
