Faststream Recruitment are working with a major ship building client based near Glasgow who are looking for a Planning Manager to support their business on the delivery of a number of commercial projects.
The ideal candidate should have significant planning experience and management of projects within the Shipbuilding industry. They must also be an expert user of Primavera. Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and reporting against existing plans
- Upgrading existing plans and development of new plans for the delivery of ship building and fabrication projects.
- Working on the delivery of projects with the planning team through to liaising with department heads and presenting to senior management.
This is an initial 18 month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent in the future. There are 34 days leave including bank holidays and a 1pm finish on Fridays.
