Your Mission:
- Departmental Leadership: Structure and manage our design department to deliver top-notch engineering solutions aligned with ADC's standards and industry best practices.
- Engineering Excellence: Drive the creation of robust engineering designs and production drawings while ensuring adherence to project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Team Empowerment: Mentor, guide, and motivate your team to achieve project goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Client Collaboration: Engage with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to finalize project specifications and ensure seamless project execution.
- Framework and Manage Design Department: Organize and supervise design activities, develop resource plans, and manage departmental budgets.
- Engineering Solutions and Standards: Oversee the development and implementation of design strategies, standards, and procedures.
- Technical Support: Provide expertise for bid proposals, production teams, and engineering projects.
- Design Advice and Client Interaction: Offer guidance to team members, communicate project status to stakeholders, and liaise with clients and statutory authorities.
- Documentation and Budget Management: Maintain accurate design documentation and control project budgets effectively.
- Subordinate Training and Continuous Improvement: Support the professional development of team members and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent (Master’s Degree preferred).
- 10-15 years of relevant engineering experience in shipbuilding and marine design, with 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in international design codes, engineering software, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
