As a Crewing Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet by overseeing the planning and deployment of crew. You will be responsible for managing a diverse pool of seafarers from various nationalities, including Filipino, Indian, European, Scandinavian, Ukrainian, and Croatian, totaling around 3500 individuals, with a focus on approximately 300 to 400 officers and cadets. You will be crewing anchor into the newly established UK Vessel group liaising and coordinating TORM´s global Marine HR organisation.
About You:
You will have proven experience in crewing or personnel management within the maritime industry, with a strong understanding of international crewing practices and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and build positive working relationships. Strong organisational and problem solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering results. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
