Role overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and supporting key accounts within the LNG tanker segment. This position requires a strong technical background and expertise in LNG tanker systems to effectively engage with clients, provide technical guidance, and drive business growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales of new products, services, and solutions
- Manage owner accounts to achieve strategic objectives
- Focus on Service Projects and Performance Agreements to ensure customer success
- Lead or participate in sales projects and provide progress reports to stakeholders
- Collaborate with GM Sales to set targets and review performance
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve goals
- Expand the local market by engaging with local shipowners
- Maintain a CRM opportunity pipeline and submit visit reports as per guidelines
- Understand customer businesses to offer tailored solutions that add value
- Establish rapport with key personnel within customer organizations
- Conduct regular visits to present product offerings aligned with company values
- Assist customers in budget planning for maintenance of marine products
- Experienced Sales Manager with a successful track record in delivering business results
- Commercially driven, focused on growing business and closing deals while maintaining profit margins
- Proficient in consultative negotiation, skilled in both technical and commercial aspects, adept at closing deals
- Strong presentation skills, capable of adapting messaging to different audiences
- Previous experience in marine engineering or shipowner sales is advantageous
- Working knowledge of marine power, propulsion, and electrical systems desirable
- University/Bachelor (preferable in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)
