Candidates should be degree qualified within a civil/structural discipline and have significant experience within Maritime Engineering projects. Duties will include:
- Manage and supervise contractors on-site and advise on engineering issues.
- Management and review of HSE matters on site.
- Site-based inspections, condition inspections and reporting.
- Preparation of contract documents, specifications and bills of quantities.
- Project cost control, payment applications and monthly measures.
- Technical, feasibility and optioneering studies.
- Support the production of deliverables such as reports, drawings and calculations.
- Design management and risk assessment.
- Supporting work-winning and tender activities e.g. proposal preparation.
