Our client stands as the global leader in energy solutions within the Marine Industry. With an ambitious expansion strategy in place, they are currently seeking a Head of HSE (Projects) to join their dynamic team.
About the role
- Drive ISO compliance by guiding stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and ensuring thorough reporting.
- Provide specialized leadership to prevent LAG incidents and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Implement HSE Success Factors to enhance performance based on industry benchmarks.
- Ensure timely delivery of meticulously formatted reports and enhance core business processes.
- Maintain document currency, legibility, and review for all relevant materials.
- Analyze HSE performance data, offer guidance for improvement initiatives, and oversee risk management processes.
- Manage internal and external communication to enhance customer satisfaction and reputation.
- Conduct thorough investigations and deliver factual solutions to address root causes.
- Develop and implement standards for contractor/vendor HSEQ management.
- Lead continuous improvement processes across all operational aspects.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the HSSEQ Team and the wider organization.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Certification in Root Cause Analysis (ICAM, Taproot, or Kelvintop Set).
- Lead Auditor qualification for ISO accreditation frameworks (e.g., 9001, 14001, 41000).
- Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or Diploma of Training.
- Minimum 20 years of senior management experience in heavy industry.
- Experience working in diverse cultural and regulatory environments, understanding local regulations and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in implementing safety cultures and managing risks in multinational organizations.
