Faststream Recruitment has entered into an exclusive partnership with MSC Cruises to recruit and hire the new build site teams across Europe who will be critical in MSC's 10 year, 17 cruise ship new build programme.
We are looking for an Engine Site Specialist who will be the expert responsible for coordinating and inspecting all machinery works related to the Engine Room ensuring that all areas are completed on time, on budget and to the correct agreed specification.
You will be expected to attend FAT's when required and have the ability to read and interpret design/drawings to correctly manage the expectations set out for the shipyard, suppliers, contractors for each specific area etc These areas will include but not limited to ships propulsion, generators, pumps, compressors etc
It is essential that you have significant experience on other cruise ship new build projects and excellent knowledge of class, flag and any other necessary rules and regulations for ship construction. You will come from a mechanical engineering background either degree qualified or have sailed as an engineer but with significant shore based new build experience.
