Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out upholstery repairs, refurbishment, and reupholstering of furniture throughout the vessel.
- Repair and maintain seating, cushions, headboards, wall panels, and other soft furnishings in guest and crew areas.
- Inspect furniture and upholstery items to identify maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory of fabrics, tools, and upholstery materials.
- Support ongoing maintenance and refurbishment projects across the vessel.
- Support scheduled maintenance programmes and vessel refurbishment initiatives.
- Proven experience as an Upholsterer in marine, hospitality, commercial, residential, or furniture manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, fabrics, materials, and repair methods.
- Experience using upholstery tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Good English communication skills.
- Rotation of 8 months onboard / 2 months off.
